  • How do I add the Pop-up Widget to my website?

    To deploy the Client Portal Widget via a plug-in, please do the following:


    1. Click on Online Presence > Website Widgets - this section contains all the widgets available for you to integrate with your website
    2. Click on "Add To Website" under the Pop-up Widget option (or found next to a widget of your choosing) 
    3. The Where is your Website? window opens
    4. Select the website builder that you are using to create your website
    5. Additional instructions that are specific to your website builder display
    6. Complete the additional instructions to add the Pop-up widget to your website

    Our widget can also be deployed to any website using the full HTML code.

  • How can I change the email address on my account?

    To change the email address assigned to your MAP Meet account navigate to Settings > Business Info and update the "Account Email" field in the Admin Account section. This email address will be the address that notifications and reminders are sent to, as well as the email you use to log into your MAP Meet account. 


    To update the email address for your staff members while logged in as the Admin, navigate to Settings > Staff and click the pencil icon next to the staff member. The "Email" field under Account Details can be edited. Once updated, just click "Save."


    If you get the 'Please fix the errors below' message, your email address may already be in use on another MAP Meet account or an older MAP Meet account. You can locate the account and change the email address on that account or contact support if you need to reuse the email address.

  • Can I export my Google or Outlook contacts and import them to MAP Meet?

    Yes! You can export both your Google and Outlook contacts to a Excel file, and then import them to MAP Meet for convenient and centralized access to help build your business.

    Importing Contacts to MAP Meet

    1. Start in the Clients section of your MAP Meet account. Click on the Import button near the top of the page. The Import your data window opens.
    2. Click Get Started. Then, select the Spreadsheet option. 
    3. You can import multiple nested clients under each contact (such as students nested under their parent, projects nested under a point of contact etc) or just import individual contacts. If you are importing nested clients, make sure to follow the instructions to customize your spreadsheet appropriately.
    4. After making your selection, you will be prompted to drag and drop or upload the import file. Note: The file must not exceed 2MB file size.
    5. Next, you will map the columns in your spreadsheet to the client card fields in MAP Meet. All the data under the selected column header will be imported into the corresponding client card field selected on the MAP Meet side.
    6. When you are finished mapping, click Next. The total number of contacts found is displayed at the top of the page. 
    7. By default, contacts who are already in your Clients list will NOT be imported. If you want to import new data into existing contacts, select the Overwrite radio button. (the current data on their client cards will be overwritten.)
    8. Click Import. The import begins. You may continue to work on other tasks during the import process.
    9. When the import is complete, you will receive an import summary via email.
    10. Refresh the Clients page to view the imported contacts.
  • Can I stop certain messages from appearing in my MAP Meet inbox?

    At this time, you cannot toggle which notifications appear in your MAP Meet inbox. However, you can stop notifications from being delivered to your email account.


    How do I turn off notification emails for staff members?


    1. Navigate to Settings > Email Templates
    2. Select the Appointments section in the top left
    3. Under the Business section select the relevant notification
    4. Un-check the "Send this email" box
    5. Click the "Save" button
    6. The email notification will now no longer go out to any staff
